Experience Innovation in Action: School Showcase Presentations During Focus on Education Week Our Peninsula School District community is invited to witness the remarkable work happening in our classrooms during this year's Focus on Education Week celebrations. These special showcase presentations offer a unique window into the innovative programs and creative learning approaches that make our schools exceptional. Students across the district are eager to share their hands-on demonstrations and interactive exhibits that bring learning to life. Each presentation offers something unique for families and community members. Elementary Highlights Voyager Elementary's interactive Learning Garden exhibit showcasing environmental education in action Minter Creek Elementary's end-of-unit celebrations featuring projects from our new language arts curriculum Vaughn Elementary's demonstration of emotional regulation tools and self-awareness strategies that support whole-child development Middle School Innovation: Key Peninsula Middle School's "We Will Write" program, an engaging platform that transforms how students approach writing, peer collaboration, and feedback In addition to student showcases, school administrators will present their School Improvement Plans (SIP), offering transparency into each school's goals, strategies, and vision for continued excellence. This is your opportunity to learn about the strategic initiatives driving positive change in our schools and share your insights.
