The Peninsula School District encourages all families to submit a 2025-2026 Free & Reduced Meals Application. This quick, 10-minute application can unlock important resources and services for your student(s) that extend beyond the cafeteria. Benefits include; 

• Free or reduced-cost school meals

• Fee waivers for college applications and admission tests

• Access to before and after-school programs

• Additional student support services

• Additional funding for schools

Important — Even if you received free or reduced meals last year, you must reapply annually. Every eligible application helps secure additional funding and resources for our schools. 

How to apply: 

• Complete the application online at our Nutrition Services web page;

• Download and submit a paper application; or

• Contact your school’s office for assistance.

Students experiencing homelessness or participating in Migrant Education Services automatically qualify for free meals and all associated benefits. 

Every application matters! When families don’t submit applications, our schools stand to lose valuable resources that benefit all students.
